01About
I'm Bakhtyar Ansari, a frontend developer based in Pune, India. I care about the parts of the web people actually touch — clear layouts, natural interactions, and interfaces that work for everyone.
My first web page was a CV in plain HTML, back in 2022. After detours through Android and Flutter, React is where I settled. Today I'm a Jr. Software Developer at Xogene, building the frontend of a clinical research platform: micro-frontends, a shared design system, and data grids that stay fast at 250k+ rows.
Outside work, I enjoy competitive programming (global rank #3068 in TCS CodeVita) and obviously gaming.
Semantic markup, keyboard paths and contrast that holds up — built in from the first commit.
Animation that explains what changed, guides attention, and steps aside when people prefer less.

01 — AI web app · 2025
Practice interviews with an AI interviewer. Describe the role and your experience, and Gemini writes five tailored questions; answer them on camera with speech-to-text, then get a rating and written feedback on every answer.
02 — Client website · 2024
The website of a fabric business: a product catalogue managed in Sanity CMS, an enquiry form that emails the team directly, and blurred placeholders so the fabric photos fade in smoothly.
03 — Web app · 2025
Every Pokémon from the PokéAPI, as browsable cards or a sortable data table, with detail pages whose descriptions Gemini writes on the fly. React Query caches every request.

I build the frontend of Prime, a clinical registry platform: micro-frontends, a Storybook design system shared as a private npm package, and AG Grid tables with 250,000+ rows. I deliver end-to-end features.
